Museum of Words and Images
The "Museo de la Palabra y la Imagen" is a civil initiative dedicated to investigate, rescue, preserve and exhibit, cultural elements and history of El Salvador.
A collection of photos, audio, movies, posters and printed material has been given to the Museum by members of the society, who have enthusiastically replied to the call for not letting social memory disappear.
The collection, which was in risk of not being preserved, is now being classified and digitalized.
