Description

The Western Regional Museum is an educational and cultural institution that seeks to promote the heritage of western El Salvador.

The museum is located inside the former building of the Central Bank of Reserve; and displays a collection of archeological pieces from the region, contemporary history of the departments of the western part of the country, as well as an impressive numismatic collection. The museum also has some rooms for temporary exhibitions. Library, guided visits, and gift shop.

Open Monday to Saturday 9:00-12:00 m. & 1:00-5:00 p.m.
