The Volcano Quezaltepeque
Quezaltepeque is the real name given to the volcano of San Salvador, which last erupted in 1917. A petrified lava river was formed after its eruption towards the north part of the department of San Salvador, which you can see from the road when traveling through the northern road heading towards Santa Ana.
